



Pennsylvania’s new voter ID law will have a direct impact on citizens who exercise their right to vote. Starting this November, every voter will be required to show a valid form of identification in order to vote. If you do not have a valid form of identification, the state will provide one to you at no cost.
McKeesport – March 6,2012 – Pennsylvania’s new law banning texting while driving takes effect Thursday state Sen. Jim Brewster (D-Allegheny/Westmoreland) said today.
“The ban on texting while driving will prevent mishaps and death,” Brewster said.
HARRISBURG, Feb. 10, 2012 — State Sen. Jim Brewster today said he voted against the recently approved gas drilling legislation because it fails to raise enough revenue and stifles local community zoning and input.
“The tragedy of this budget is that the governor could have brought in more revenue without raising taxes,” Brewster said. “Instead, struggling families are being called on to dig deeper in their pockets.”
