Harrisburg – Oct. 27, 2014 – State Sen. Jim Brewster announced two upcoming financial aid seminars available to students seeking post secondary education.
“Students who are considering going to college should try to attend one of the financial aid seminars that I am hosting in November,” Brewster said. “Managing college costs, finding out about the resources that are available, and understanding financial assistance deadlines are very important.”
Brewster said that there will be a representative from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) at the seminars to explain how to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and discuss what grants, scholarships, and loans are available to students.
