PITTSBURGH, PA – September 27, 2024 – On Tuesday, State Senator Jim Brewster was honored by the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association for his “unwavering support” of PA’s law enforcement community. Alongside State Senator Mike Regan and State Representative Barry Jozwiak, Senator Brewster was awarded a plaque commemorating a career dedicated to fighting for the needs, rights, and support of police officers and other first responders serving the people of Pennsylvania.
“It’s been my life’s work to champion the needs of our police officers and first responders, who put themselves in harm’s way each and every day to maintain order and safety,” said Senator Brewster. “It’s a profound honor to be recognized by the men and women whose work is foundational to delivering safe communities for every Pennsylvanian.”
This follows the Pennsylvania Fraternal Order of Police’s decision to honor Senator Brewster with an Appreciation Award for his steadfast advocacy on behalf of law enforcement.
Senator Brewster is set to retire at the end of his term, having begun a career in public service as a councilperson in McKeesport.
